Audiofocus announces partnership with Sun Infonet
Audiofocus has announced announced ambitious plans for the Asia Pacific region at this
year’s Pro Light & Sound.
Based in Hong Kong, newly appointed Asian business director Nicolas Kirsch is in the process of creating a
distributor network in the region and delegated responsibility of the Belgian brand to a company he knows well - Sun
Infonet in India. Kirsch has an invaluable experience as Nexo’s Asian sales manager since 2005.
“I appointed Sun Infonet as Nexo’s distributor in 2009, so when I learned that Nexo was working directly with Yamaha I knew
what I had to do,” explained Mr Kirsch.
“As the distributor for brands such as Allen & Heath, Camco, Quest and Shure they make an ideal partner for Audiofocus,” he
added.
Sun Infonet operations director, Neeraj Chandra recently travelled to Pro Light & Sound in Frankfurt and there he finalised
the deal with CEO Philippe Leroy and Co-Founder Xavier Marchal.
“We were looking for an active speaker brand that would offer excellent price-performance features and easy set up for our
customers,” said Mr Chandra.
“Series such as the FR-X, CM, MT and ARES will allow us to better penetrate the live sound and fixed installation markets in
India from bars and retail outlets all the way to stadiums,” he added.
Sun Infonet had bagged the runner up award in Allen & Heath’s 2016 global distributor of the year and is looking to gain
rapid market penetration through its extensive dealer network.
‘Audiofocus’ loudspeakers represent a great return on investment with great versatility of use,’ added Mr Chandra. ‘Just as
importantly, we will maintain high volumes of stocks and spares together with expert sales support for our customers,’ he
further stated.
Audiofocus is currently represented in China with Hawks Pro, Philippines with Modular Display and South Korea
with A-Works.
