Studiomaster Professional’s Class D DSP-enriched Clio 154 Active Loudspeaker

The Studiomaster Professional introduces Clio 154 - a high-performance 2-way bi-amplified 400W (RMS) active loudspeaker. The loudspeaker integrates a custom-designed 15” mid-bass woofer and 1” high-frequency compression driver. The specially-designed HF flare weaved into the design not only ensures amazing clarity and detail but also an even dispersion with a wide coverage area and throw distance.

At the heart of the Clio 154 is a 400W (RMS) digital class D amplifier that is carefully-engineered for maximum efficiency and punch. The integration of the class D amplification also lets the loudspeaker harness the full benefits of Digital Signal Processing. Thanks to this, users can quickly change the loudspeaker’s tone using easy DSP sound presets such as flat, speech, music, live, and club. The Clio 154 is further optimized to deliver a frequency response between 40Hz-20kHz and a max SPL of 128dB.

One of the standout features of the Clio 154 loudspeaker is the built-in USB/SD card MP3 media player with playback control and Bluetooth for wireless streaming from compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The powered loudspeaker sports multiple wired input options including a stereo RCA, XLR-Jack (line) and a switchable XLR-Jack (mic/line) with individual level control. There is also an XLR out for linking additional loudspeakers.

The integrated independent HF and LF soft clip limiter circuits ensure distortion-free sound and optimal speaker protection. The unique angled-shape of the Clio 154 makes the loudspeaker useful for both FOH and floor monitoring applications. The speaker is housed in a durable and rugged plastic moulded enclosure with a wood grain finish that delivers a classy look and optimal scratch-resistance. The integrated mounting socket on the bottom panel allows seamless installation on standard wall/pole mounts and speaker stands. The speaker's ergonomically-shaped handles allow utmost ease in transportation.

Packed with features, the powered loudspeaker is ideal for a wide variety of live, touring, installation, and other mobile applications.
