Nx Audio Expands MT Series Power Amplifier

The MT2201Amplifier provides RF/EMI rejection with an LF filter

Nx Audio continues to expand its MT series power amplifier line-up with the new MT2201 Amplifier. Nx Audio is an Indian manufacturer of power amplifiers, the MT series power amplifiers deliver quality performance, in terms of frequency response, distortion and noise.

Similar to the MT1901 amplifier, the MT2201 amplifier delivers up to 3600+3600W at four Ohms load per channel, which is compatible with power-hungry Dual 21" 6" VC Subwoofers popular today. The class D amplifiers represent the zenith of amplifier efficiency, with rates in excess of 90% and the MT2201 is an example of that.

The MT2201 is a class D amplifier using pulse width modulation to rapidly switch the output devices between off and on states at a switching rate of 50MHz. D Class uses less heat sinking and is usually lighter than other amplifiers, though the MT2201 uses the same rugged chassis as its siblings MT1901. The MT2201 uses extensive protection circuitry and advanced technology to ensure RF/EMI rejection with an LF filter.

Nx Audio D Class Amplifiers have performed well in field tests and are now ready for the market. linear transformers are used for dynamic range and headroom at extreme power levels. The MT2201 based on its large toroidal transformers power supplies a very high damping factor continues the MT Legacy of tightest bass response and woofer control in the industry.
