Installation Speakers

Installation Speakers for large and multi setting

Martin Audio CDD Series

This series is designed to deliver class-leading performance, fidelity and coverage consistency to venues that demand the ultimate in cutting-edge technology and style. Whether it is a live music clubs, music bars, nightclubs, bars and restaurants, museums and AV spaces, convention centres, hotels, retail outlets, leisure centres, houses of worship the CDD Series has it covered. CDD has been conceived as a one stop solution; six two-way full-range coaxial systems from the micro CDD5 to the powerful CDD15, complemented by high-performance subwoofers that cover the majority of installs.

The CDD Series has the audience covered too. Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology delivers more consistent audience coverage than systems with fixed dispersion X° x Y° horns — projecting more output to the rear of the audience to distribute sound evenly from front-to-back, while having wide horizontal coverage close-up. This increased coverage area can reduce the speaker count in larger installations.

Main Features include:

• Versatile, passive, two-way systems
• Coaxial ‘point-source’ performance
• Differential Dispersion technology
• for consistent coverage
• Elegant UPM Formi composite enclosures (except CDD5)
• User-rotatable coaxial drive units
• Vertical and horizontal mounting options
• Screw-free perforated steel grilles
• 8Ω nominal impedance
• Discreet mounting accessories
• Integral inserts for eyebolt suspension of CDD10, CDD12 and CDD15

Klipsch KI Series II

The KI Series II permanent installation speakers address the specific needs and performance standards of the sound reinforcement industry with rock-solid reliability. The KI-102-II, KI-172-II, KI-262-II and KI-272-II speaker models specifically now have updated high-quality, heavy-duty drivers and larger voice coils for increased power handling and higher sensitivity.

All KI models use Klipsch’s proprietary Tractrix Horn technology, which provides unrivalled low-distortion clarity and detail while long-throw woofers produce powerful low frequency response. Because of Klipsch’s expertise in efficient speaker design, the KI Series II permanent installation speakers are able to provide maximum output with minimum wattage.

The addition of ellipses or “Mumps” moulded into calculated areas of the Tractrix Horn on the KI-102-II, KI-102-T-II, KI-172-II, KI-362-II and KI-396-II models further enhance coverage across the dispersion area of the horn.

Ideal for virtually all permanent sound reinforcement installations and production environments including theatres, houses of worship, school auditoriums, restaurants and nightclubs, the KI Series II permanent installation speakers deliver unrivalled performance and value.

Main Features include:

Harman HST Wide-Coverage speakers

The patent-pending design includes a wall-facing woofer, two horizontally splayed tweeters, a wall bracket that spaces the speaker the required distance from the wall, and a tapered cabinet that provides proper loading and dispersion of the sound. With most on-wall (surface-mount) speakers, the baffle of the speaker is some distance from the wall. It is the nature of low and low-mid frequency sound waves to wrap around the speaker, where they reflect back out from the wall, recombining with the original sound. When this occurs, some frequencies add coherently to the original sound and other frequencies cancel, causing peaks and dips in the resulting frequency response and inconsistencies from location to location within the listening space. By substantially reducing this occurrence, Control HST is able to provide a flatter resulting frequency response along with a more consistent sound character throughout the room. The JBL Control HST is ideal for a wide variety of applications including retail stores, restaurants, educational facilities, leisure venues, hotels and other music and music/paging uses. The Control HST is IP34 water-resistant rated, enabling its use as an outdoor loudspeaker.

Main features include:

• Frequency Range (-10 dB) 50 Hz – 20 kHz
• Frequency Response (±3 dB) 68 Hz – 18 kHz

QSC The Acoustic Performance series

Last year QSC added two new models AP-4122m and AP-212sw to the popular Acoustic Performance loudspeaker series. Consisting of a multipurpose 12” coaxial loudspeaker and a dual 12” subwoofer, these additions expand the Acoustic Performance series with high versatility and performance in mind. The new AP-4122m is a 12-inch two-way coaxial system with 40 and 60 degree wedge angles, top hand hold, pole cup, and M10 fittings for flown or yoked applications. The coaxial design delivers true source point performance with 90 degrees of conical DMT coverage. DMT (Directivity Matched Transition) matches the HF to the natural conical performance of the woofer at the crossover point. This innovation provides a smooth power response both on and off axis, resulting in better sound within real rooms. AP-212sw is a dual 12-inch direct radiating subwoofer specifically designed to complement the full range Acoustic Performance models. The AP-212sw features four hand holds, an optional caster kit for ease of transport, two M20 pole mount plates (top/side), and a unique input plate having two NL4 connectors in a crossed configuration. This input plate feature allows a single NL4 cable to power both sub and top without the need for a custom turn cable. The highly versatile AP-212sw matches the width of the popular AP-5122m and new AP-4122m allowing for elegant stacked or pole mounted solutions. When deployed horizontally, the AP-212sw is just 15 inches tall, making it ideal for under riser deployments.

This series delivers QSC loudspeaker design philosophies to installations requiring high SPL and full bandwidth performance. These highly versatile installation loudspeakers maintain their remarkable sonic signature even at high output levels. Acoustic Performance is perfectly suited for houses of worship, dance clubs, themed entertainment, or other high SPL demanding installations.

Main Features include:

• DMT (Directivity Matched Transition) in 2-way models ensures smooth, coherent power response across the listening plane
• 3” diaphragm compression driver (1.75” on AP-4122m) delivers a clean and powerful high frequency response
• Bi-amp / passive switchable (passive only on AP-4122m), except AP-212sw subwoofer
• 16-gauge powder coated steel grilles

• Clean industrial design with unadorned grilles complement most decors and settings
• Two M20 pole attachment points on AP-212sw
