SUN INFONET ANNOUNCES Big Sales for Allen & Heath S7000

Allen&Heath Indian distributor, Sun Infonet has announced the sale of S7000 to sound rental companies, broadcast audio solutions providers and others. S7000 is the largest control Surface in the dLive family, with a whopping 216 assignable fader strips. It features 36 faders over 6 layers, dual 12″ capacitive touchscreens and the innovative Harmony UI for the fastest workflow in the industry.

Audio Core

Rental company- Audio Core who purchased a S7000 surface deployed it at a large wedding ceremony, held at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai with performance by local artist, Sarosh Nanavaty.

“We suggested that the artist go with the S7000 console,’ said Bijon Bhadra of Audio Core, who served as the mix engineer. “We had deployed L-Acoustics Arcs as the main PA with multiple delay stacks of Nexo PS15s,” he added.

Mr. Bhadra also noted that this system was powered by a mixture of Nexo, Camco and Lab.gruppen amplifiers, while vocals and music was captured by six Shure microphones. “The artist and the client were very happy,” confirmed Bhadra.

Deutsche Bank’s ‘Town Hall’

The S7000 was also utilised at the NSE Nesco Complex in Goregaon, Mumbai for Deutsche Bank’s ‘Town Hall’ event that brought together staff members from the banks offices around India and abroad.

“Audio was running both ways for video conferencing with many dignitaries on stage. The S7000 allowed us to run 128 inputs with minimal set up time,” said Mr Bhadra.

Sound reinforcement at this event called upon a Nexo Geo S12 system with RS18 subs as the main PA, once again supplemented by delays of PS15s. All power was via Nexo amps and a variety of Shure mics and lavaliers were used.

“We have partnered with Deutsche Bank for the last four years. The client was happy with the new dLive console and satisfied that we continue to upgrade,” added Mr Bhadra.

Roshni Audiomatics

Prakash Ahuja, owner of Roshni Audiomatics, Mumbai recently purchased Allen & Heath S7000 comprising DM64 Rack from Delhi based distributor Sun Infonet. It was used at the live telecast of Singing Show “Rising Star” on Colors Channel.

Roshni Audiomatics is into this business since last 20 years and has been catering to all the major channels and production houses.

In this show, 60 output and 108 inputs were required. Mr. Ahuja used this console as it was tried and tested by Mr. Mahesh Amberkar, sound engineer of the channel, to cover such an event.

Mahesh said, “I am happy with the console as it fulfils all the requirements needed for any live telecast show. Being user friendly, the accuracy level and equalization part of this console is superb. He also stated that he used this console mainly for floor monitoring and was controlling the entire floor with one console.”

According to Mr. Ahuja, this mixer is game changer as it gives flexibility to route-out audio, ample headroom and easy operation than other mixers which don’t have such facilities. He also appreciated another prominent feature of the dLive - multiple touch screens that helps to select user-friendly routing of audio operation.
