SHURE AND SUN INFONET CONDUCT “WIRELESS MASTERED”

Riding on the success of the previous seminar series and also part of educational programmes, Sun Infonet & Shure, MEA conducted back to back seminar series on wireless microphones entitled “Wireless Mastered” at Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Mumbai in the month of February.

First session of this seminar was held at Hotel Taj Deccan, Hyderabad, consecutively second session at Hotel Radisson Blu in Ahmedabad and third seminar at Hotel Holiday Inn, Mumbai to educate the sound engineers and technical crew of rental companies, and freelancer sound engineers from the respective and surrounding locations.

Andrea Granata, Technical support engineer, MEA led all the sessions and covered topics like importance of wireless, spectrum legislation, principles of radio transmission, predictable and unpredictable interferences, in ear monitors, antennas and cables, wireless systems networking and advanced frequency coordination techniques.

Attendees of all the venues gained in-depth knowledge of the RF technology – the way it works and ways to operate a secure, reliable system you can depend on, recent changes to spectrum allocation - what you need to know, how it affects you, and what you can do to mitigate risk. They also got training with Shure’s Wireless Workbench software and third party analyzers, including how to scan the RF environment, coordinate frequencies and monitor systems.

Apart from the training, attendees got the chance to get hands on knowledge of industry leading wireless products, including: Axient, UHF-R, ULX-D, QLX-D and PSM1000.

The seminar was a great platform for sharing best practices and learning, with ongoing interaction between audio-visuals users and professionals, concluding with fruitful socializing at lunch which left participants zealous.

Zakir Hussain, Owner of Taher Sound a Hyderabad-based Rental Company commented, “Shure is the only company who is more concerned about providing knowledge to the industry professionals about existing and latest technology. Being a distributor of this renowned brand, Sun Infonet has always provided platform to get in-depth knowledge about the existing and upcoming technology. I feel very honoured being invited to attend this seminar and would like to express my thanks to Shure and Sun Infonet for organizing this important seminar. Such seminars provide a unique and very useful platform to showcase competitive advantages and to exchange information, ideas and experiences.

Neeraj Chandra, Director, Sun Infonet thanked the Team of Shure, MEA as well as all participating sound engineers and rental partners for their support in making the seminar a big success.

Chicco Hiranandani, Director, Shure MEA also thanked all the participants for attending the seminar and assured the further support from Shure MEA Team.
