Ruooff 180 in nagpur installs Audiocenter

Ruooff 180 has created massive buzz since it opened. Clearly inspired by international Rooftop Lounges, the ambience and vibe of this Al Fresco place is beyond awesome. On week nights, it’s a chilled out restaurant with a very interesting range of Cuisine. It has 3 main areas, the Bar area, Relaxed seating and the Poolside.

Just under 4000 sqft, Ruooff 180 is located on the top level of the TuliImperial and has a raised section for the Bar Area. The hotel, which is a beautiful heritage style building, is not particularly tall, meaning the buildings surround the bar and adjacent pool, creating an intimate and almost cosy kind of feeling. Roouff also plays host to a number of curated event nights each month showcasing the best of Indian DJs, making it the one of the trendiest spots in Nagpur.

Talking about the sound system integration at Ruooff 180 in detail, Manoj Motwani – Director of Narain Audio & Lighting says “The Audiocenter system has turned out to be the perfect fit for Ruooff 180, especially considering the various dynamics and needs of the venue. The PF8+ and PF26 tops, loaded with 8” or Dual 6” customized Beyma ferrite drivers with 2 voice coil and housed in solid CNC cabinet made from original Russian birch plywood ensuring low resonance, ensures that every corner of the venue sounds perfect. The PF115+ subs complement them brilliantly with thumping lows from the solid CNC cabinet. Don’t take our word for it – the regular patrons who frequent Ruooff for the service and the music will be more than glad to share raving reviews!”

The buzz and energy hits you immediately on a weekend visit, when Ruooff transforms into a high energy Nightclub with the PF8+ and PF26+ tops complemented by the PF115+ subs delivering tremendous SPL. The PF8+ are 200W RMS 8” 2way cabinets capable of delivering a 123dB max SPL whereas the PF26+ are 240W RMS dual 6” 2way cabinets capable of delivering a 124dB max SPL, both ably supported by the PF115+ delivering 700W RMS and a max SPL of 130.5dB. All the PF+ cabinets use CNC made weather resistant Russian birch plywood, are tongue and groove assembly and the finish is emery sprayed paint. The HF horn is made of DMF composite material to ensure very warm and dynamic sound. The coverage angle is (H°×V°) 80°×70° and the horn is 90° rotatable.

The System is powered by 2 VA1201 Amps for the Subs and 3 VA801 for midhighs. The VA series Professional high-end amplifier has excellent stability and reliability The six models within this series (VA201, VA401, VA601, VA801, VA901, VA1201) offer a range from 130 watts to 1200 watts at 8Ω stereo. Each channel works at 2Ω to satisfy all requirements. VA series has DC and overload protection, plus the smart overheat management of VA series has unique circuitry to monitor the amplifier’s temperature in real time. When the safe operation of the amplifier is compromised, the output power is reduced but not shut down, which ensures the system can work stably in high temperature environment.

Prince Tuli, owner of Ruooff says “I love the sound of the Audiocenter system, but more importantly how the setup seamlessly fits into the venue. The speakers are tiny in size but are really clean and loud. I couldn’t believe my ears when I first heard it. Ruooff needed a distributed system, which could handle high energy club nights on the weekend and Audiocenter delivers beautifully. Regulars are all praise for the Sound system”
