Audio Kris Expands with a brand new DIGICO SD10

Audio Kris India is a fast- growing dynamic rental company that is based in Panaji, Goa. The company handles touring and live needs for both corporate and major music shows. Recently the company invested in their first SD10 and one SD Rack that was supplied by from DiGiCo’s India distributor, Hi-Tech Audio Systems Pvt. Ltd., of New Delhi. The SD Rack along with the console was delivered with 32 Bit Input-Output card. The inception of Audio Kris was laid down in 1999 by Cristovam De Monte Furtado. As an audio rental company back in those days it has expanded its business venture to capture each aspect of live events. “We have been using DiGiCo consoles since our inception as a rental company. Its reliability, pristine audio quality & simplicity in setup served as the main reason,” Cris continues, “artist tech riders today and from the past always request DiGiCo consoles as a requirement. It always feels wonderful to satisfy our client’s needs with DiGiCo. The entire team of Audio Kris is excited with the third addition to their DiGiCo consoles.”

“Chris is very much determined to take his company to the next level of success by staying ahead in terms of both knowledge and technology. The addition of SD10 console is a turning point for the company. The purchase was made to answer the growing demand in and around Goa which is one of the most happening destination for global artists and musicians”, shares Rajan Gupta, Managing Director of Hi-Tech Audio Systems.

Cris and his technical team found the combination of the SD10 and SD Rack to be one of the best all-round packages available to the industry, offering the right balance of sound quality, versatility and all round control. The whole set-up runs on Optocore connection.

Karl Da Costa, Systems and Audio Engineer of Audio Kris share his experience about SD10. “Added fader banks, additional smart keys or function keys, more elaborate control surface makes this console very hands on without having to toggle screens to get to specific functions. Having a dedicated Master Stereo bus also adds value. Added AES I/O cards on the surface allows for running the entire system on a digital path. The SD10 along with the SD Rack running on optics brings out superior audio quality & output to the PA system.”

From live concerts to corporate events, conferences to gala dinners, Audio Kris caters a wide range of clientele list. Cris, an SD user for years, starting with SD9 eight years ago says, “We quickly decided to add an SD10 to our inventory due to our growing list of clients which include various audio related events. With its high fader count, high input and output buss counts; the SD10 is the right addition for our rental stock. Plus if you connect the console with SD Racks via Optocore, the audio quality is paramount and the final outcome is superb.”

Nirdosh Aggarwal, Director Sales of Hi-Tech Audio concludes, “The SD10 we delivered has the Optocore network already implemented, to accommodate the growing demand for Optocore solutions in the market, and with a clear view to the future. We are glad that we could deliver the best to Audio Kris and we are always there to provide after sales training and support.”
