Shure and Sun Infonet Hosts “Wireless Masterclasses”



Riding on the success of previous seminar series, Sun Infonet and Shure MEA conducted back to back to seminars on wireless microphones at Hotel the Lalit, Mumbai and Hotel Ritz Carlton, Bengaluru in the month of September.

First session of this seminar was held at Hotel The Lalit, Mumbai, followed by the second session, which took place at Hotel Ritz Carlton, Bengaluru. The workshops were led by Andrea Granata, Technical Services Manager at Shure MEASA.

The two days seminar at Mumbai saw around 50 participants from the industry which includes sound engineers and freelancers, while in Bengaluru the seminar was attended by more than 30 industry professionals.


“I am very happy to see the response of the people from Mumbai and Bengaluru who approached me to attendthis training. They were curious to learn the techniques and tips.” Says, Hemant Gaba, Sr. Manager, Sun Infonet.

Chicco Hiranandani, Director, Shure MEA, commented,“These Wireless Mastered for Live Events provides an opportunity for us to share with professional audio engineers’ basic fundamentals of wireless microphone systems, best practices and insight into how RF technology in live productions has evolved. Attendees to the training have also had the chance to ask for recommendations on how to manage issues they face whilst on the field, even better is understanding why they face such issues.” He adds, “Andrea’s presence in Mumbai and Bangalore during the month of August precedes our future Axient Digital Certifications where we intend to focus on the products with greater depth.”

Commented Sun Infonet Operations Director, Neeraj Chandra. “Wireless Masterclass was a stepping stone to upgrade participants to next level i.e., Axient Digital. SIPL in association with Shure MEA is planning more trainings alike in future.”
