Hi-Tech Audio Spruces Up India’s First Integrated Amusement Park WITH BOSE SPEAKERS

Fairytale dreams come true not only for children but for adults too. Delight in world class rides imported from Italy, Switzerland and Germany to this whimsical land spread over 16 acres in Surat, designed by the creators of Sea World (Canada), Warner Brother Movie Studio (Australia) and many more, The Sanderson Group. At Amaazia, a project by Rajgreen group and India’s first indoor integrated amusement park fantasy becomes a reality as you explore the tidal wave of fun to a tropical paradise in the water park, experience the thrill of the world class theme park rides and various entertainment joints under one single roof. Stories, not only come alive, but stay alive. From serene to extreme, there’s an experience for everyone at Amaazia.

Apart from the rides and the excited tidal waves, audio plays a very important role in making the thrill park rides more real. Hi-Tech Audio Systems Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi got the opportunity to design & install the Complete Audio system all over in a 16 acres area.

The complete park was divided in 11 Audio Zones for different pipe music in each zone with varied audio levels. The challenge in designing the system was that there was no such acoustic partition between zones and speaker selection and their locations were to be chosen such that there is minimal spill over. Moreover the speakers were to be IP55 rated or better. Also, due to the size of the park, two control rooms connected over Fiber optics to minimize copper cable losses were chosen. This also helped to eliminate central routing matrix to avoid single point of failure.

“We had to choose the speakers such that to create the right atmosphere and emotion, whether for an adrenaline-pumping ride or a relaxed ambience throughout the parks and attractions, with a particular emphasis on camouflaging the speakers to avoid tampering and disturbing the ambience of the place,” said a spokesperson from Bose.

Complete range of Bose Professional Products were deployed to achieve the above. For Wave pool area Bose Flagship Point & shoot LT Range of weatherized speakers and subwoofers with 3 Nos. LT 9702WR and 2 Nos. of dual 12 inch MB24WR subwoofers were used. This systems was deployed to produce high SPL pumping music during wave generation to play EDM style music and to overcome high Noise levels of water babbles, and public cheer.

The complete park is surrounded by a free flowing Lazy river where people can get in a tube and relax and hence needed a system with rich ambience music. The complete Lazy river was covered with Bose Garden speakers Freespace 360P which were camouflaged with a unique design by architects. These speakers have a 360 Degree coverage and hence covered both walking pathways and lazy river.

Rain Dance Area is another big attraction of the park. This indoor area is like a night club with a unique design of sprinklers from ceiling, sides and Floor. Speakers to be proposed were again to be weather proof/sprinkle proof so 4 Nos. iconic IP55 Bose Panarray 802 speakers with IP56 MB12WR Subwoofers to produce thumping loud music through DJ were used.

“So from King Cobra rides to kiddies’ areas, indoors and out, in queue lines and eating areas, we created a sound that is just the right atmosphere for a fun-packed day.

At the heart of the sound system is our engineered backend system which is a combination of products from Bose and Bi-Amp processors and call stations to make zone-wise Announcements.” Complete system is sitting on park’s LAN network and can be monitored from multiple locations as desired. The backend provided has shifted the paradigm from the traditional system with a centralized processing and central routing matrix into a new future i.e. networked future. Logging and system monitoring information is stored locally. The complete system is expandable and can be linked to other new facilities coming up the premises of the park i.e a world Class Club House, premium Mall and Multiplex etc.

Project Director of Amaazia – Mr. Rajesh Taylor expressed- “We are extremely glad to be the first ones in India to create a World Class Integrated Amusement Park which caters to audiences of all ages. We wanted to create a facility of international level and chose to go with Brand Bose for Audio System and a system integrator which has an expertise and experience to integrate such systems professionally so we chose Hi-Tech Audio Systems. We are very happy with this new system and look forward to extend the same in new upcoming facilities also.”

Director Sales (Projects) Hi-tech Audio Systems Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi – Mr. Manik Gupta also expressed his cheer – “ We are extremely glad to be a part of such a prestigious project. It surely is another milestone in our journey towards becoming India’s largest Systems Integration company. We thank the owner of Raj Greens Group Mr. Manoj Bapu and projects director Mr. Rajesh Taylor for giving us this unique opportunity”

Mr. Arun Kumar - Divisional Manager - Bose Professional India said – “Bose professional are pioneers in Professional Install Audio system worldwide. We thank the team at Raj greens for trusting us and giving us this wonderful opportunity and our premium partners Hitech Audio Systems for a world class integration”
