ETC announces re-release of Source 4WRD

This past April, ETC’s Source 4WRD was proactively placed on a shipping hold. The thermal management system was degrading faster than ETC anticipated and the company made a choice to halt the shipment of a product that did not meet the company’s internal standards.

After months of redesigning, reworking, and retesting, ETC has announced that the new Source 4WRD has passed rigorous testing. The redesigned thermal management system is showing no signs of the heat buildup which was witnessed in the previous design. Given the overwhelmingly positive test results, the team at ETC has agreed that Source 4WRD is ready for re-release.

ETC has started the process of swapping out all original Source 4WRD products and expects all fixtures in the field to be upgraded within the next few months.
