Claypaky has introduced Mytho2 – an upgraded version of its Mythos moving head. Reportedly, Mythos is still today one of the best performing discharge lamp units on the hybrid light market ever made. It was launched in 2014, and immediately stood out for its incredible light output in comparison to its power consumption, its sharply defined aerial effects, and its countless features both in beam and spot modes.

Mythos2 Features

A new reliable, ultra-efficient lamp: Mythos 2 is now supplied with the new OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 440W X lamp (part number LAM00P, 22000 lm, 7000K, 1500 h), which replaces the previous model (OSRAM SIRIUS HRI 440W). According to the company, this new lamp has undergone several tests repeatedly over time in very severe operating conditions to confirm its outstanding reliability. Therefore, the company believes that this new lamp version is definitively an improvement in the use of the Mythos in any application areas. The lamp is also perfectly compatible and working with all Mythos 2 already on the market, after simple updating of the product firmware.
Decrease in price: Despite the reliability and optimum performance of the new lamp, the cost of the MYTHOS doesn’t go up. In fact, it goes down, Claypaky has decided to meet the budget needs of this light’s many admirers by decreasing the list price.
