Audio-Technica debuts ATDM-0604 Digital SmartMixer




Audio-Technica has introduced the ATDM-0604 Digital SmartMixer which is a six-channel automatic mixer ideal for meetings, and conferences, and other applications involving the use of multiple microphones or other media inputs. Among its many features, the ATDM-0604 combines intuitive use with superior echo cancellation and flexible web remote functionality for a seamless experience.

SmartMixer technology produces a high-quality output from all inputs in a setup by automatically mixing channels in gate or gain sharing mode. This process eliminates feedback, excessive ambient noise and comb filtering.

Media Setup

The ATDM-0604 includes a number of inputs, outputs and ports that includes- four balanced microphone inputs, two balanced Mic/Line inputs, one unbalanced stereo input, one unbalanced stereo and two balanced mono outputs along with network -Cat5e or better, and USB ports.

Additionally,the mixer includes A/B Audio-Technica Link ports that enable users to create an expanded setup. These ports allow for up to six ATDM-0604 mixers to be connected via Cat5e cable for simultaneous use.

Usability

The SmartMixer is equipped with Parametric EQ, compressor and limiter, and feedback control are available for input and output control and processing. From the front panel, controls and LED indicators allow users to easily - adjust input/output and gain levels, set and recall presets, turn on/off phantom power, low-cut filter, automatic mixing and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) and change IP configuration (Auto or Static).

These options can also be found on the Web Remote interface, which gives users the flexibility to make adjustments from a Windows-based PC, Mac, iOS or Android device. The Web Remote also allows users to change input and output settings, select gate or gain sharing mode and adjust other advanced settings.
