Pioneer DJ Launches its New Powerhouse -- XDJ-XZ

Pioneer DJ has launched its new all-in-one unit the XDJ-XZ. The XDJ-XZ is a professional all-in-one DJ system that’s perfect for events, a bar or club, or your private studio. The XDJ-XZ gives you all the features you need to get the job done. This 4-channel system features a professional layout with flexible media support, 14 professional Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX, a new three-band EQ on the master channel and trigger software-specific features using the 16 multicolored Performance Pads. It is ideal for mobile DJs playing in less-than-ideal acoustic spaces.

A new feedback reducer also helps prevent 'howling' when using the mic. The on-jog screens from the DDJ range have made the leap to the new XZ, as well as full-size jog wheels from the CDJ2000nxs2. There are also eight performance pads per channel for sample, cue, loop trigger as well as stutter FX. The XDJ-XZ mimics club setups and offers many of the features from the NXS2 CDJs, also offering a 7” touch screen display. Three USB inputs will make back-to-back sets and DJ changeovers that little bit easier.

The XDJ-XZ also supports a new Link Export feature, so you can link together different Pioneer DJ devices like the 2000nxs2s, XDJ-XZ, and the DJS-1000. The four-channel mixer is compatible with Serato DJ (this will come with a firmware update in 2020) and rekordboxDJ. This gives the freedom to choose the preferred software and enjoy the benefits of the all-new Hybrid mode.

Support For Various Media and Different Performance Styles

The XDJ-XZ gives you the freedom to play the way you want. Plug-in USB drives loaded with rekordbox-analyzed tracks or connect your PC/Mac to use the professional performance application, rekordbox dj. You can even play tracks directly from your rekordbox library via Link Export mode, so you don’t need to export playlists from your laptop to USB drives. Connect turntables, samplers, smartphones, and more, to channels 3 and 4 while Pro DJ Link enables you to browse tracks from CDJs via the 7-inch touch screen on the XDJ-XZ and sync them with your mix.

The Pioneer XDJ XZ produces fantastic, lucid, and high-quality audio thanks to the systems' advanced features and being able to adjust to the environment you’re playing in. With plug and play capability, the DJ system is ready to go.

Main features of the Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ include:

  • CDJ-2000NXS2 style and size jogwheels
  • In-jog displays
  • Central touch screen, offering operability in line with the industry-standard kit
  • 4 channel mixer (2 channel standalone/laptop control plus 2 channel multiple inputs) with DJM-900NXS2 look and features including beat and color hardware effects.
  • Connect CDJs and turntables, the XDJ-XZ can be the heart of your setup
  • High-quality audio interface
  • Compatible with both rekordboxDJ (license included) and SeratoDJ
  • DVS ready (please note, upgrades are required)
  • Pro-DJ link enabled - connect other devices with ease
  • 2 mic inputs with 3 band EQon each with feedback reduction
