Gemini launches SDJ-4000 and MAS-1

Gemini DJ launched two new products to their line-up at NAMM 2017- SDJ-4000 and MAS-1. The goal of the company is to design products that offer value and innovation in the DJ and Pro Audio markets. Since 1974, the company has evolved and thrived by understanding the needs of customers and recognizing industry trends.

MAS-1- Professional DJ Controller for Abelton Live The MAS-1 allows users who are new to Live to maintain the feel of traditional DJing as it combines the traditional feel of a 4 channel DJ mixer with control elements for devices and effects contained in Ableton Live. It also offers an expanded BPM section to allow for smoother mixing into external sources. The onboard 4 channel audio interface is loud and warm, and the hardware interface itself is designed to work well in dark environments, with high contrast highlights and backlit buttons. The MAS-1 has a built-in stand allowing it to be tilted towards the user in multiple positions to create a superior viewing angle.

Clip and Scene control is accomplished via a small array of RGB buttons and knobs or an external controller can be easily added. Mixing is accomplished via 100mm faders for the smoothest possible response. Each mixer channel has 3 sends for hands-on effects flexibility.

SDJ-4000- Professional Dual Deck USB Media Player The SDJ-4000 is capable of song analysis, beat synchronized effects and even database creation and search without any prior software analysis.

Music and song data are presented on a beautiful high resolution 7” color screen. With several views available, the user can find a layout that’s ideal for the way they work. The moving waveform display also shows other important song information – like locations of loops and cues making mixing a pleasure.

The built-in effects processing is capable of not only being applied to the internal media players but external sources as well. And with BPM synchronization, the user can incorporate external devices into their performance and give them the same FX used on media players. The SDJ-4000 is also capable of Ethernet connection of up to two additional media players, allowing for use of Link Mode to share USB libraries and even sync external players.
