The fun doesn’t stop as Roland get in on the act with the announcement of a rather special collaboration with the guys from Serato.

Roland are now looking to muscle in on the DJ scene with their first DJ controller, theDJ–808. A professional 4-channel DJ controller with built-in drum sequencing, vocal processing, external instrument connectivity and deep Serato DJ integration.

The DJ–808 comes with Roland’s TR-S drum machine built in and also has two AIRA Link USB ports for hooking it up to other products in the AIRA range. Features include an “integrated TR-S drum machine offering the iconic 606, 707, 808 and 909 drum sounds in a 16-step sequencer, which can also trigger the newly improved 8-slot Serato DJ Sampler.” The DJ–808 is designed to be the link between live performance and DJing offering DJs a wealth of options on how to lay down their sets.
