Blue Bass Unveils Cutting-Edge 18" LF Woofers: The New XB18-1800 and XB18-2000

Blue Bass's newly launched XB18-1800 and XB18-2000 subwoofers

Blue Bass has expanded its renowned product lineup with the release of two new high-performance 18-inch low-frequency woofers, the XB18-1800 and XB18-2000. Designed to meet the demands of professional audio environments, these woofers incorporate advanced engineering solutions to ensure reliable performance, even under extreme conditions.

At the core of both models is the M-Roll Cone, which delivers balanced linear excursion. This allows the cone to move back and forth with precision, maintaining sound accuracy by faithfully reproducing the input signal. The heavy chassis design of these woofers enhances motor weight dispersion, minimizing vibrations and ensuring a clean, undistorted sound. The Inside/Outside Sandwich Voice Coil technology, featured in both woofers, uses a layered coil construction that provides a greater surface area for heat dissipation. This prevents the coil from overheating during intense usage, prolonging the life of the speaker.

The innovative Direct Air Ventilation Magnet Motor further aids with heat regulation by promoting airflow, ensuring the driver remains cool and operates at peak efficiency. The XB18-1800 model includes a Demodulation Ring that stabilizes the fluctuating magnetic field within the driver. This feature helps control modulation distortion, leading to clearer sound, even at high output levels. Meanwhile, the XB18-2000 is equipped with a Dual Position Suspension Damper, which maintains the voice coil's alignment within the magnetic gap. This results in more accurate cone movement and better sound control, reducing unwanted distortion. Both woofers are designed to offer robust performance for professional audio setups, from concert halls to club systems. With their enhanced technology, the XB18-1800 and XB18-2000 are built to deliver precision, reliability, and durability in the most demanding environments.
