Vibhor Khanna - Corporate Executive Excellence in the INDIAN PRO SOUND industry




PALM Sound & Light honoured VIBHOR KHANNA with the award for Corporate Executive Excellence in the Indian Pro Sound industry for changing the business model and setting up the distribution network for Bose in India. The strong growth of the company in India can be attributed to a great extent to his demonstrated strengths in Sales, Marketing and Profit Center Management. This article looks at Khanna’s career path in the pro sound industry in India.

With over 18+ years of experience, Vibhor Khanna is a results driven leader driving clarity from chaos and inspiring & coaching great teams.

Born in Delhi, most of his early childhood years was spent in the United States of America. At the age of 10, Vibhor moved back to Delhi with his family. His passion for audio & music motivated him to join audio major BOSE Corporation, after completing his B. E Electronics & MBA (Specialization in Marketing).

Vibhor worked with Bose for nine years from 2001 to 2010 Direct Selling to end customers where he build huge success in building and maintaining relationships with key corporate decision-makers, establishing large-volume, high-profit accounts with excellent levels of retention and loyalty. Some key wins for Bose during Vibhor’s tenure were the Delhi International Airport, Mumbai International Airport, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, ITC Gardenia and Westin Hotel, Gurgaon to name just a few.

Vibhor Khanna - Country Manager SAARC, Bose Professional

In 2010, Vibhor left Bose to join HARMAN, where during a brief stint of 2 years, he was responsible for realigning Harman’s dealer channel across India.

Vibhor came back to Bose in 2012 to set up the new Dealer Channel for Bose Professional products. He successfully managed the transition of the business and established a vast channel for BOSE Professional Products across India. In the last few years, Vibhor has been very successful in driving the Bose channel business & delivering growth beyond normal market trends.

Vibhor’s strengths include high levels of Strategic & Operational leadership, which include identifying growth segments, new business opportunities, whilst driving execution & relationship excellence across large cross-functional teams.

An effective strategist full of ideas and possibilities, he is known in the industry for his amazing sales techniques and people management skills. One will often see him supporting his team members, giving them opportunities to excel and grow.
