To achieve this, Afters partnered with Kshitij Mendiratta, from Raj Enterprises, a trusted hospitality audio integrator, with Yamaha Music India (YMIN), providing expert guidance on system design and configuration to ensure the perfect acoustic fit. For a high end venue like Afters by Meliaa, the goal was to create an audio experience that matched its refined ambiance. The Yamaha team needed to engineer a system that could shift seamlessly from calm daytime dining to energetic evening moods, while staying invisible within the décor.

Understanding Meliaa’s acoustic needs and brand ethos, Raj Enterprises designed and installed a high-performance Yamaha system tailored to the venue’s ambiance and operational flow.

The sound system at Meliaa is built around Yamaha’s CZR series loudspeakers, which form the core of the audio environment. Designed for medium sized venues, the speakers are characterised by high power handling, clarity and efficient coverage, allowing clean and dynamic sound reproduction without audible distortion, even during busier service periods. Low frequency support is provided by Yamaha CXS subwoofers, integrated to introduce depth and warmth, particularly during late evening operation. These subwoofers deliver a controlled, musical low end response and are matched closely with the CZR loudspeakers to ensure smooth crossover behaviour and consistent bass distribution without dominating the space. Power and system management are handled by Yamaha PX series amplifiers, which incorporate onboard DSP for accurate acoustic tuning, alongside high output efficiency and stability for extended daily use. This configuration allows staff to manage sound levels reliably across different times of day and event formats. Overall, the system delivers uniform coverage across dining areas, integrates discreetly with the interior design, and provides flexible control while maintaining a balanced, high fidelity sound that supports the venue’s operational requirements and complements the dining experience.
