Cuore by Masala Diaries in Rajkot combines a premium restaurant with a versatile banquet facility, creating a hospitality destination designed to cater to both intimate dining experiences and large-scale social events. Developed by the Masala Diaries Group, the venue's striking architecture, characterised by expansive vertical volumes and modern finishes, presented unique acoustic challenges that required a carefully considered audio solution.

To address these requirements, Yamaha partnered with Cuore by Masala Diaries and integration specialist Raghav Technology to design and implement a system capable of delivering consistent, high-quality sound across two distinctly different environments. The project was led by Raghav Technology's Acoustic & Sound Engineer, Param Vachhani, with a focus on ensuring comfort, clarity and operational flexibility throughout the venue.

The restaurant area posed the greatest acoustic challenge. With ceiling heights of approximately 35 feet and an abundance of reflective surfaces including glass, polished flooring and designer ceiling elements, the space was susceptible to excessive reverberation, reduced speech intelligibility and uneven coverage. Traditional ceiling-mounted loudspeaker solutions were deemed unsuitable, as they would have increased reliance on reflected sound and compromised direct audio delivery.

To overcome these issues, Yamaha VXH8W pendant loudspeakers were deployed in a distributed configuration and suspended at optimised heights to improve direct coverage while minimising reflections. The loudspeakers were also hand-painted to complement the venue's Afro-inspired interior design. Low-frequency reinforcement was provided by Yamaha CXS15XLF subwoofers, tuned to add warmth and depth without overwhelming the space. The system was powered by Yamaha PX Series amplifiers and managed via a Yamaha MG10X mixer, providing simple and reliable day-to-day operation.

The banquet area required a more powerful and adaptable solution capable of supporting weddings, corporate events, live performances, DJ sets and conference-style presentations. Yamaha CHR12 loudspeakers were strategically positioned to ensure consistent full-range coverage throughout the hall, while additional CXS15XLF subwoofers delivered the low-frequency impact required for music-led events. Yamaha PX Series amplifiers supplied the necessary power and headroom to accommodate a wide range of event formats.

A fully integrated Yamaha ecosystem, comprising VXH, CHR, PX and MG Series products, was supported by detailed system tuning and calibration tailored to the acoustic characteristics of each zone.

The result is a seamless audio experience that supports natural conversation in the restaurant while providing the power and flexibility required for high-energy banquet events. According to the venue team, the system has enhanced the overall guest experience, delivering clear, balanced and consistent sound while preserving the venue's refined aesthetic and atmosphere.
