Nx Audio Elevates Live Sound with New Headset Microphone, In-Ear Monitor and More

Published on 18th August, 2026

Nx Audio launched the Q-800 Series, a professional Digital UHF Wireless Microphone System available in dual handheld, dual headset and dual shotgun options. The Headset microphone version features a built-in transmitter, eliminating the need for a belt-pack and offering a sleek look. The Handheld microphone has a premium dynamic cardioid capsule which makes for a fantastic audio response, and the Shotgun condenser capsule offers excellent pickup range. The Handheld microphone features a unique power saving mode to enhance battery life.

The Q-800 offers 200 non-interfering channels with superb RF performance, reliability and stability. Up to 24 mics can be used simultaneously, with multi-channel frequency synthesizer for enhanced accuracy. Equipped with one-touch infrared data synchronisation technology, balanced XLR and mixed unbalanced ¼” output, multiple noise control circuitry and an effective open use distance of 400 ft, the Q-800 is an excellent Frequency Variable microphone for any professional setting.

Also launching to complement the Q-800 and other Nx Audio variable frequency microphones, including the popular PRO7000 & URX60, is the AC84, a 5-way Active antenna splitter Distribution System for increased range and reduced interference, compatible with most UHF wireless microphones. Equipped with 8 outputs and 2 cascade ports for improved networking and reduced rack clutter. It features wide band operation of 450-900 Mhz, dual level electronic gain integrated amplifier and cardioid reception pattern of 3dB.

Nx Audio’s new In-Ear Monitoring System, the IEM-40, is ideal for stage performances and sound broadcasts as a replacement for traditional complex sound monitoring equipment. The IEM-40 builds on Nx Audio’s long legacy in frequency variable wireless audio technology to offer a great SN ratio of 98dB and excellent dynamic range. It features an advance multi-channel frequency synthesizer, one touch IR synchronisation, and 100 channels in all.

To be used with the IEM-40 and other IEM Systems, the PP422 Antenna Combiner is also being launched. The PP422 combines unto 4 IEM to a single antenna set for improved RF networking and reception quality due to reduced intermodulation distortion and dropouts. It features wideband operation of 470-900 Mhz and the ability to daisy-chain 2 combiners with the expansion port.
