The SRX922, one of the new models in the JBL Professional SRX900 Series
Published on 15th January, 2026
HARMAN Professional Solutions, one of the global leaders in audio, video, control, and lighting systems, has announced the expansion of its JBL Professional SRX900 Series of powered scalable loudspeaker systems. The expansion includes 12-inch, 15-inch, and dual 12-inch point-source loudspeakers and a full range of supporting accessories. These models offer enhanced versatility, expanded deployment choices, and unprecedented integration across touring, rental, installation, and production environments. Designed for a wide range of applications, the new SRX912M is an exceptionally compact, multi-purpose, two-way 12-inch powered loudspeaker that delivers remarkably high output for its size. It is ideal as a low-profile stage monitor, main PA, or front fill.
Optimally suited for use as a main PA or as a high-performance stage monitor, the new SRX915M is a high-output, multi-purpose, two-way 15-inch powered loudspeaker designed for applications that require greater low-frequency extension and increased headroom.
For applications requiring high output and precise directivity control, the new SRX922 is a compact, acoustically three-way, dual 12-inch powered point-source loudspeaker featuring a trapezoidal full-range enclosure. It is an ideal choice for high-output mains systems, side-fills, or as a high-performance point-source element within larger SRX900 deployments.
To ensure a completely modular platform that scales seamlessly, the new SRX900 models share consistent voicing, amplification, and DSP, and use common rigging and accessory options. A unified software platform ties the system together, creating a seamless, integrated ecosystem.
Also introduced is a new range of rigging, mounting, and transport accessories that support flexible deployment across fixed and portable applications. Offerings include horizontal and vertical U-brackets, array frames, truss clamps, transportation carts, and covers. From live performers to production companies to installed sound environments, SRX900 delivers the ideal balance of value, performance, and professional-grade capability.
“The SRX900 platform is continually evolving to meet the realities of today’s productions and users. With this expansion, we’re extending that commitment even further—offering greater flexibility to achieve more, while maintaining the signature sound and trusted performance the SRX900 platform is known for. We couldn’t be prouder to support our users with new possibilities for expanded applications and growth," said George Georgallis, Senior Director of Product Management, Tour Sound at HARMAN Professional Solutions.
The SRX900 Series comprises line arrays, point‑source models, and flyable or ground‑stacked subwoofers, all sharing consistent voicing, amplification, DSP architecture, common rigging formats, accessory options, and a unified software platform. The series uses transducer technologies derived from JBL’s flagship touring systems, with woofers based on the Differential Drive dual‑voice‑coil, dual‑gap design to deliver clean and detailed sound. JBL’s long-established focus on directivity control ensures consistent coverage across the listening area. Each model includes advanced DSP with a 24‑band parametric EQ, up to 2,000 ms of delay, and the Array Size Compensation (ASC) filter for tonal correction based on array size. System protection is provided by the LevelMax limiter suite, developed with Crown for the I‑Tech HD amplifier platform, ensuring stable operation under demanding conditions. Networking is supported through the HControl Ethernet protocol, which simplifies system configuration and allows integration with standard Ethernet switches and Wi‑Fi access points. The series operates within a connected software ecosystem comprising JBL Venue Synthesis for 3D acoustic simulation, JBL Performance for system control, and ArrayLink for on-site deployment. All models are self‑powered, removing the need for external amplifiers and enabling straightforward setup. Rigging features include a three‑point system for line arrays and multiple QuickLink™ M10 attachment points on point‑source units. Construction includes reinforced composite enclosures for line arrays and plywood cabinets for point‑source models and subwoofers, supported by rigorous testing and a 5‑year warranty.
