Post Malone’s performance at the Kanapara Veterinary Grounds on 8 December 2025, was everything audiences had hoped for and more. The evening marked the global superstar’s first-ever solo headline concert in the country, and for the tens of thousands of fans, thee Guwahati concert marked India’s growing prominence on the global touring map, with record turnout and world-class production proving the country is no longer a secondary destination. Behind the scenes, technical precision drove the success. Phoenix Networks Global, one of India’s leading rental and technical service providers, handled complete audio production design and commissioning, ensuring every beat and vocal reached the audience with clarity and impact.
Team Phoenix delivered a powerful, precise PA system for Post Malone’s concert using 36 Meyer Sound PANTHER cabinets as stereo FOH hangs, supported by 24 PANTHER modules in two out-fill arrays. All arrays were carefully angled and time-aligned for optimal coverage and clarity, ensuring high headroom and tonal balance across the venue.
Low-end reinforcement featured a dual-layer subwoofer strategy:
- 24 LFC-1100 subs flown in cardioid pattern alongside the main PA for controlled low-end extension.
- On the ground, 24 LFC-1100 subs in six clusters plus 6 LFC-2100 subs in two side clusters delivered deep, articulate bass with visceral impact.
For front-fill, 16 LEOPARD modules were distributed across the sub stacks, complemented by 4 PANTHER Wide cabinets atop the LFC-2100s, ensuring seamless tonal transition and vocal clarity for the front rows.
Given the exceptional depth of the venue, delay reinforcement was essential for maintaining clarity and timing at the farthest audience areas. Phoenix deployed 2 delay towers, each with 8 Meyer Sound PANTHER modules, totalling 16 cabinets, all precisely time‑aligned with the main system to deliver consistent, coherent coverage throughout the grounds.
Phoenix Networks Global also extended coverage to key auxiliary zones. The artist recreation area featured Meyer Sound X80 loudspeakers paired with LFC‑2100 subwoofers, while the VIP dining area employed Meyer Sound X40 loudspeakers with LFC‑900 subwoofers, providing refined audio matched to each environment.
System processing relied on 6 Meyer Sound GALAXY 816 processors, delivering advanced alignment and optimisation. The entire system used the MILAN protocol for deterministic, low‑latency networking, supported by Luminex GigaCore 30i switches to ensure robust, closed communication between FOH and monitor positions. This infrastructure enabled seamless integration between system architecture and show control across multiple console environments.
Post Malone’s touring team brought their own RF and console package, including DiGiCo Quantum 852 consoles for both FOH and monitors, which Phoenix integrated smoothly into the system. For opening acts, Phoenix provided DiGiCo Quantum 338 consoles with Optocore interfaces at FOH and monitors. Performers were supported by Shure Axient Digital wireless systems and extensive Sennheiser IEM deployments, ensuring stable RF performance. Phoenix also supplied a comprehensive, rider‑matched backline inventory, ensuring smooth artist transitions and uninterrupted performances.
“Events like this are milestones — not just for artists and promoters, but for the entire live production ecosystem in India. Being part of a moment that genuinely moves the needle for the industry is incredibly rewarding,” says Animesh Mishra, Founder Director of Phoenix Networks.
