DAS Audio unveiled the future of events at NAMM Show 2026, with the latest update of the EVENT series, introducing three new systems: the EVENT-30A line array, the EVENT-S218A subwoofer and the EVENT-M12A stage monitor. The EVENT-30A and EVENT-M12A were both recognized with Best of NAMM awards, reinforcing the series’ position as a versatile platform designed to adapt efficiently to a wide range of professional formats and audience capacities.
This update marks a new stage in the evolution of the EVENT series, built around a shared technological platform focused on control, automation and operational reliability. The aim is to simplify system deployment and ensure consistent, predictable results in real-world production environments.

A key element of this evolution is Smart Self-Tuning technology. Using infrared sensors, each unit automatically identifies its position within the system and loads the appropriate preset, including long throw and short throw modes, without manual intervention. FIR-based DSP processing and integration with DAScontrol complete a control environment designed for fast optimization and coherent system performance.
The EVENT-30A represents the next step in the EVENT line array story. Featuring newly developed transducers and dual compression drivers, it delivers increased dynamic range and controlled SPL, while onboard WiFi connectivity enables wireless firmware updates and long-term system evolution.
Low-frequency performance is handled by the new EVENT-S218A, designed to integrate seamlessly within the EVENT platform. Equipped with dual 18-inch neodymium transducers, it delivers powerful, controlled low-frequency output with improved efficiency. Cardioid presets for multi-subwoofer configurations provide effective rear rejection, making it well suited for touring, festival and outdoor applications, while flexible deployment options allow easy adaptation to different system layouts.
The EVENT series is further expanded with the EVENT-M12A, a compact coaxial solution for stage monitoring, fills and point-source applications. Its design ensures precise coverage and excellent clarity, while its voicing allows natural integration with EVENT systems. Like the rest of the platform, both the EVENT-S218A and EVENT-M12A are built on a scalable DSP architecture that supports future firmware updates.
With this latest update, the EVENT series is consolidated as a key pillar within DAS Audio’s strategy, offering a future-ready solution for demanding professional productions with a clear focus on efficiency, reliability and control.
