The Leela Club, Goa, known for hosting high‑energy nightlife and live entertainment programmes, has deployed a new professional audio system designed and integrated by Kevin Pillai in partnership with Ansata, the exclusive distributor of d&b audiotechnik in India. The venue, which positions itself as a luxury club environment inspired by international nightlife spaces including its sister property in Pattaya, required a system capable of supporting DJ‑driven events, EDM‑focused evenings, live acts, and VIP guest programming.

System Design Requirements

The venue’s audio brief centred on achieving high‑fidelity, high‑output sound across the main dance floor while maintaining consistent coverage in seating zones and VIP areas. The system needed to offer tight low‑frequency control for electronic music, balanced midrange performance for varied content, and compatibility with touring workflows. Uniform coverage without dead zones was a key design priority, as was predictable system behaviour at elevated playback levels.

d&b audiotechnik System Deployment

To meet these requirements, Ansata designed a large‑format d&b audiotechnik system built around the KSLi series, supported by supplementary loudspeakers, dedicated monitoring, and centralised control and amplification.

The Waves eMotion LV1 Classic console is used for live system mixing and integrates with the venue’s operational requirements for both performances and club‑style playback.

Operational Outcome

The installation delivers a high‑impact, controlled sound field across the venue. The main floor receives the full output of the KSLi‑based system, while supplementary loudspeakers ensure that coverage remains consistent in VIP and lounge areas. DJs and visiting engineers work with a rider‑friendly setup designed to maintain clarity, stability, and reliability during extended sessions.

The deployment supports The Leela Club’s intention to deliver a nightlife experience with a technical standard comparable to international venues, with sound that remains articulate and controlled across different programme types and venue zones.
